We are open and welcoming guests to experience Uga again!!

In view of the current COVID-19 situation and for the continuous safety of our guests, we would like to highlight our new guest stay plan till 30th November 2021

Option I – Fully Vaccinated with min initial 2 night stay at Level 01 Certified Hotel > Clearance Docs > Transfer to Uga

Upon arrival in Sri Lanka, you will be required to stay a minimum of 2 nights at a Certiﬁed Safe & Secure L1 hotel until the on-arrival PCR test has been performed. (for 24-48 hours).
You cannot check in to Uga Ulagalla directly upon arrival in Sri Lanka, as we are not Level 1 certified.
On receipt of a negative on arrival PCR test report at your initial Level 1 Hotel, you will be permitted to leave the Sri Lanka Tourism bio-bubble and stay at a Non-Level 01 Certified hotel such as ours.
As proof of the above, you should carry the discharge document issued by the respective L1 hotel doctor. This document will be provided to you upon verification of the status of your vaccination & PCR test results.
It is mandatory that both these documents are submitted to Uga Ulagalla prior to arrival, and the original documents are furnished upon arrival to obtain copies.
Travelers who have completed the recommended doses of COVID-19 vaccination and arriving after two weeks of completion of vaccination are considered vaccinated.
Guests should abide by all rules and regulations stipulated by Sri Lanka Tourism and the initial Level 01 Hotel of their choice.

Option II – Complete 14 days in a Level 01 Certified Hotel > Clearance Documents > Transfer to Uga

Upon arrival in Sri Lanka, you will be required to stay a minimum of 14 nights at a Certiﬁed Safe & Secure L1 hotel until all required PCR tests have been performed. You cannot check in to Uga Ulagalla directly upon arrival in Sri Lanka, as we are not Level 1 certified.
On receipt of all negative PCR test reports at your initial Level 1 Hotels during the 14 day period, you will be permitted to leave the Sri Lanka Tourism bio-bubble and stay at a Non-Level 01 Certified hotel such as ours.
As proof of the above, you should carry the discharge document issued by the respective L1 hotel doctor. This document will be provided to you upon verification of the status of your PCR test results.
It is mandatory that these documents are submitted to Uga Ulagalla prior to arrival, and the original documents are furnished upon arrival to obtain copies.
Guests should abide by all rules and regulations stipulated by Sri Lanka Tourism and the initial Level 01 Hotels of their choice.

We wish to reaffirm that, as a Non-Level 1 Certified hotel, we can only accommodate guests with the above-mentioned discharge document, which serves as your permit to exit the Sri Lanka Tourism Bio-Bubble.

Arrangements for initial 2 Night booking at a Level 01 Hotel needs to be done directly.
