Located at the very heart of the Cultural Triangle of Sri Lanka, there is much to explore both near and far from your base at Ulagalla Resort. We offer many Sri Lanka excursions and guided tours covering a variety of interests – so whether you are keen on culture, wildlife, people or historic places in Sri Lanka, we have a journey for you to take.

You can visit the ancient capital of Anuradhapura on an exciting cycling tour; take a safari to the plains of Minneriya National Park to watch the elephants or further West to Wilpattu National Park – the realm of leopards. Among the places to visit in Anuradhapura are; the wonder of Kala wewa – a giant reservoir, a proud feat of engineering of an ancient kingdom. The age old ruins of Ritigala are also a visit more than worthwhile. The wonders of Sigiriya, Dambulla, Polonnaruwa and other sites of archaeological and historical significance are also near enough to explore.
